Okay so Wednesday night I was a little too busy as excitingly I had a (sort-off) new first date!
I'm so excited about this, as most of my friends know (/the whole of twittersphere) ... I have been a bit hung-up about a certain ex-romance and so it suddenly felt so exciting to meet someone new that I could get excited about and really stop me feeling so rubbish about all of that.
We met on Saturday and we decided it would be nice to meet up for a few drinks on Wednesday, but this weather completely put a halt on plans, because it was just too cold to even bare being outside. So in a completely non-slaggy way we just stayed in and had a night on the sofa chatting and watching a film.
It sounds like a really odd "date" but it was so relaxed... and so refreshing after the state I worked myself into with previous romantic meetings recently. So i'm excited to see if this goes anywhere, but I guess more importantly, it helped me realise that things can be a lot more relaxed.
Perhaps the end of my hysterical hash tags, haha!
