Mum took me into Leicester city centre (on a pity shopping trip really) and helped me to get some of the things on my list I still need for Spain. I picked up two really nice bikini's one in a classic black and one a bit more fun and dramatic with a few sequins and a coloured pattern. I normally hate bikini shopping. Most shops are completely fine for people with average boobs, they can just pick up a string piece of material and get away with it. For me, it's like a minor engineering project. Most shops also like to ram it in your face that you're not average by having every bikini with "enhancers." They don't need enhancing. I don't think anyone needs to see them "appear 2 sizes bigger!"
(Floral Pattern, Next; Black, New Look)
I also purchased a throw on maxi dress for walking to the beach in. Unfortunately it doesn't exist on the website, so I can't post a picture of that, but its a strapless elasticated bandeau on top, then a floor length maxi dress which is a pink fading into a red. It sounds unusual but the colours really work and look really summery. I'm hoping if the weather ever gets nicer in England, i'll be able to wear it as a casual maxi dress here too.
When i was trying the maxi dress on in the changing rooms, this amazing track came on. This never gets old, I'm not ashamed to say I still love a bit of Macy Gray.
Also whilst I was in town I met up with my beautiful friend Sophie for a coffee and a catch up. i love our catch ups, its so lovely to find out about how our lives are because we don't get to meet up that often anymore. It's also always good to find out everyones cheeky gossip from different friendship groups! It suddenly hit me that its been 10 years that we've known each other, waaah so long! So much has changed but i'm so glad we've kept in touch. If you're reading lovely, good luck with all your house and Sheffield organising! I will definitely see you sometime in July for that dance in Mosh ;)
Tomorrow i'm off to Manchester for the weekend for Boylin's 21st, so i'll be back to update you on that little adventure soon.
Lots of summer shopping love,
Becca xx
