lots of twenty first prosecco

Good morning!

This weekend I went on a cheeky trip over to the fields near Manchester to visit Boylin's pub for her big 21st birthday party.

The party was so much fun! Quite a few familiar faces and friends from uni were there for lots of prosecco and strawberries, strong vodkas and the odd glass of wine. Boylin's family put on such a lovely party for her. Her mums buffet food was delicious and the singer and big Al' the dj were really good too. Oh my word, the singer's versions of Buble songs were fiittt, I fell a little bit in love.

Everyone looked really nice in all our party gear and all the planning and decorations before the party in the afternoon made me really miss my big party for my 21st and mum's 50th. But it was nice to be back at an event which had friends and family of lots of different ages there. We managed to keep our behaviour mostly uni-drama free around them all haha, apart from pretty inappropriate talk over our buffet and a bit of mild nudity with some shirt poppers!

We partied through the night and before we knew it it was gone 3 and so we all piled into the lounge to sleep on a deflating blow up bed and sofas. I managed to get no sleep but again Boylin's mum was such a babe and cooked us amazing cooked breakfasts in the sunny garden in the morning. Perfect!

So then yesterday I made the journey back up to Leeds on possibly the worst train journey of my life. I hate this countries stupid excuse for a train system. Why should I be paying so much money for literally the most crammed conditions I've ever had to stand in. And the heat of bodies right in your space on no sleep and a terrible hangover was really not pleasant. But then obviously it was worth it to have gone to the party!

Now i'm back in Leeds, pretty much the last one standing... waah! It feels strange to be back, I wanted to cry seeing my room the way that i'd left it before heading off to the summer ball. But i'm gonna make the most of these last few weeks kicking about on my own and make loads more progression with applying for jobs and get all my work sorted out for my big final degree show coming up next week. I'll keep you posted ;)

Lots of manc partaay love,
Becca xx
