when it was finished all i could really describe it was "heavy!" it definitely wasn't an easy watch at all, some scenes i'd even describe as horrific, not in a gory way just a literally awful way.
but it was such a good film. the story was so powerful and moving. i seem to cry to much at films these days.
the actress that plays precious is amazing, but i think it was the actress that played her abusive mother that stole the show. she was outstanding, i feared her every time she appeared on screen and i think thats the best an actor or actress can do, is to make you forget that your not actually there in the story haha!
yesterday i also bought the latest CR. it's my first one, but i want to get more into reading up on design magazines and journals etc. i had a meeting for my trip to NYC too, so excited to just spend a few days there trying to cram in as much inspiration as i can. yes!
today i've accidentally slept in 'til 1.15pm. not good considering all the work i want to sort out, but i better get too it now :)
...my lecturer asked the other day if anyone kept a blog. i didn't raise my hand, because if i read back on all my posts, i don't think they'd really count? maybe i should raise my game and write something a little bit more professional or academic? haha
