yesterday, relaxed afternoon drinks at the annual village show turned into quite the pub crawl ending at gone midnight... standard.

had a lovely day though, saw some very impressive beetroot and carrots (only in kirby...!) in the veg and baking competitions and both dad and david won rosettes in there photography rounds. had a cider, an ice-cream, and spent a whole fifty pence on a bounce on the bouncy castle, just like old gynnies times! (:

then we took ourselves to the castle, for a snack and another drink.

then stanny, chinese and back to the stanny for a pub quizzzzzz!

bumped into a few people whilst there, so it was good to have a good ol' catch up! love it.

now, i plan on having a very chilled out bank holiday monday. Bx

i've been on another lovely trip to birmingham to see daniel. (:

we did a bit of shopping, had a nice pizza and shared a coffee student style.

and played some very amusing "would you rathers?" watching people pass in the street.

and, tommorow:

a lovely long lie in, then i'm having drinks in the pub at our village show in the afternoon with some of my leicester bezzies i've not seen in a whileee

i bought a lottery ticket today and didn't win anything.

but it was nice to have a little hope of money in my hand for that little moment (:

then, charity and family and all that, haaaa jk...of course i'd do that first.

actually, in a complete dream world, if i had won i think actually i'd buy the first plane tickets to italy with some of my closest, loveliest friends and go and see all the things in italy i'm dying to see. in rome and venice.

not even any kylie minogue classics are really entertaining me today.

i've been working. which i love, honestly its so good to be doing something useful and practical and lets be honest, getting some money in! but thats all i've really done today and yesterday. and all i've got planned all week. (apart from shopping with mum on friday, hello new shoes.. and possibly a trip to b'ham)

i love helping people. and a few people i knew came in today and thats always nice (: and its nice to see the people i work with again.

at the moment, whilst most friends are away or have plans, i feel like im just sitting around waiting to go back to uni. i've counted, it's nineteen days. long.

i love being back to see everyone and we have had some absolutely amazing times this summer in leicester. but i'm just so sick of being away from the whole uni-life.

i'm too excited to get back to the house. and get back to our amazing leeds nights out. and get back to the course and actually work really hard, and see my course mates - it's rubbish i haven't had the chance to catch up with them this summer. and get back together with my 103 and db gang and i'm too excited to have a bit of freedom again. and join the gym. and find a new job. and earn money for some amazing stuff i've seen to decorate my room.

but tonight i'll just sit watching big brother. oh. Bx

hello, i've had a lovely weekend ta.

lazed around for most of it, but had a very nice night out on saturday.

predrinks round trina's, followed by more drinking in highcross, followed by more drinking on a saturday night mosh. laaavly.

i got to catch up with three of my old form pals (:

so good to see them and find out how there getting on, SAEv for lifeeeee.

it was so dead in mosh for a saturday night, i definitely prefer it on a tuesday, but i had fun, we never fail to pull out all our cheesey moves. sprinkler? lawn moer? pahaaa

it's always good when chickin lickin' is reopened next door for some cheeky chips after toooo!

sunday i went out for a really nice family meal to celebrate david's results.

well done daveee, i'm very proud of you. and for the record, your welllllll not better than me!

we also watched the film "Brothers" i fully recommend it, it was well good, i thought it was all about an affair between these two brothers but its not really at all. its about the strains of being out at war and coming back.

jake gyllenhaal is fittttt in it and tobey maguire's acting is actually really really good.

"WOO-HOOOO I'M FINISHED, I'VE DONE IT"

last night was hilarious, a standard classic buffet babe night out!

it started off as quite polite girly few drinks in a few bars, having a bit of a laugh

it ended with having naps in the club toilets, nose-dives to the dancefloor and yelling at the taxi driver. oh...

we went to some of our standard faves, firebug, orange tree and o'neills

then we found some bizarre new places...

there was "fat cat's" i think? which was lovely, but we had buy one get one free cocktails and when they say cocktails what they really meant was rum.

we stayed playing music on laura's phone for a good half an hour being told to drink up and more or less fuck off because they were cleaning up and officially shut.

then there was a really random place we went to that was dead, but we had a dance, and used there toilet. for like 20 minutes, then yet again found ourselves being forced out and more or less told to fuck off because they were shut.

then there was a really bizarre club/bar place with hardly anyone in it.

but we got a free shot on the way in and then another free shot when inside, from a guy in a waistcoat claiming he was a manager, no complaints from us!

then we tried superfly, got a bit argumentative with some of the year below us, don't think they loved us pushing to the front, i'm so ashamed we did that!

so then we decided to give chilli whites a go.

fully hammered, fully not really our scene when we got in there, fully lost my coat

had a little snooze on the loo, and decided it was definitely time for food then home

amy bowler led the way, claiming to be the most sober of us all, but officially fell flat on her face and couldn't get up

we then made our way to maryland. obviously!

had some food, got in the middle of some argument of a guy calling some girls mum a bitch and saw THE shaunnn off of liquid.

then we jumped into a taxi, yelled at the driver until he drove all the way up the drive and called it a night.

hilarious! theres never a dull moment when i'm out with my buffet babes, i loveuuu girls! (:

definite quote of the night was:

hahahaaa, ...fyi, a reference to my poppers on my body-top all in one thing.

should probably not wear that when drinking again, its the worst thing to get back on when drunk.

our nights are like the tamer british version of jersey shore. hahaaa!

i had such a lovely day and evening with dan yesterday in birmingham

..got back and worked a pretty good shift, nailed it and got an extra shift for next week

..now im getting ready to go out tonight and get a little bit too tipsy and have a right laugh with the leicester girls

fully loving a whole day of just chilling out on my own today.

it's been a while since i've had the chance to just sit in my room doing nothing (:

put some pictures up of scotland, on fb.

sat listening to "contra" vampire weekend, it's perfect i love it.

flicked through a few magazines, and had a little look at some of my fave blogs

unpacked and had a bit of a tidy up

scotland was such a fun few days.

it was so so lovely to spend some time with my gran, my aunty, and my three lovely cousins.

we went shopping, had a picnic, visited a castle, played in the park, went hiking, had fish/haggis suppers, played cards and had a right general laugh together.

its rubbish we don't get to see them more, we get on so well when we all meet up.

lovedddd a day out to edinburgh fringe festival with gran, mum and david on sunday too.

so inspiring, we had such a laugh and the city had such a good atmosphere,

the sun was out, it was so hot, people were treating princes park like a beach and although the whole city was rammed, everyone seemed so chilled out, just out for a laugh and to see some of the well good, talented live acts.

i got sun burnt, and our pictures look more like we've been abroad for a few days, but the rest of the holiday was definitely your stereotypical scottish break...

saw people dressed casually in kilts

saw bagpipers

listened to bag pipe music

saw thistles and highlaaaand couuuus.

ate haggis

went hiking in the scottish hills

went to a castle

visited the capital city

learnt some of the scottish lingo

sorted, job done.

only thing we missed was a wee drop of whisky, but gran is very anti the young one's drinking, one beer..."DRINK IT SLOWLY BOYS." and visiting a loch...but we've been to loch ness before, and to be honest, it's just a lake, when you've been, you're not gonna' go again.

gonna' hit "becca's garage gym" tonight.

and im fully excited to go on a little travel to bhamm tommorow.

a spontaneous road trip up north to char's pub in the middle of no-where

working to earn a pub meal and a couple of drinks

feeding the chickens and chilling out in the pub

an adventure back home on about 3 trains to save some of my barely-there money.

i wish we had taken some pictures, but they were some lovely memories :)

i've got a feeling a fair amount of alcohol is on the cards.

seven deadly sins

thought i should probably post up some of my graphics work on this blog.

this is a photography project from the end of last semester :) i was quite pleased with the mark i got, although looking back i have some better idea's for some of the photo's now.

i might re-shoot it. my photo's are inspired by lauren greenfield's work, she's got some amazing ideas and concepts behind her work.

aaaanyway proper proper bored today.

gonna' hit the garage gym tonight and possibly do some graphic designy stuff

feeling a little bit inspiredddd.

i have no idea what to do tommorow. being back in leicester is depressing.

i need another adventure please. i'm so into italy, i'm gonna' research prices for a little adventure possibly before christmas. someone come with me?
