having the worst weekend since ever.

not even being dramatic, although actually it probably isn't that bad

i probably need a break from all the drama of the last few weeks.

my liver definitely needs a break, although not happening, sorry.

i keep having a cheeky glass of wine, whoops.

but having no money

so literally sitting in my house for the next few days is awful.

i miss corfu. i miss leeds.

roll on tuesday, i'm so so excited. :)

it's keeping me sane.

cleaning my room today. i mean like MAJOR clean. it's like a junk room in here.

yesterday i started but got overwhelmed with how much needed to be done, when i found a neclace of two koala bears hugging, made out of two different colours of wood. circa like 1996.

majorly motivated today.

when it's all done i'm gonna' have a cheeky glass of wine and watch "an education"

BUFFET BABES ON TOUR.

i don't think a long blog post about our trip would be right.

because at the end of the day, ..."what happened in leeds, stays in leeds"

pahahaaaa, nah whatever.

there was:

-sleeping and not getting out of bed 'til four.

-many, many pub meals and a CLASSIC chinese buffet "my mains stomach is well full, but my dessert stomach is starving"

-taking hours and hours just to get ready

-cheap wine pre-drinking, listening to "TUNEEEE"s

-almost nocturnal living, meaning completely wrecking our body clocks "it feels like we're abroad"

-not remembering or really knowing where anything was "becca, have you even been to leeds before?"

-mystery tap in my bedroom

-having literally no entertainment in the house "erm...your ipod's run out of battery"

-toy story 3. which btw is THE best film since ever, SO funny.

-drunken featal position downstairs

-"henry"

-"can you play poker without any cards?"

-almost poo-ing myself from bffl's closet prank

-not being able to sleep because of bffl's closet prank

-a visit from the police, "...i've got something to tell you, promise you won't freak out."

-shopping for food and essentials and coming away with magazines, chocolate and mini cereals

-meeting possibly every brian there is in ireland

-nothing open on a monday night "YEAH ITS OPEN, get out"

ahhh so many memories.

i love you, buffet babes and leicester girls.

such a funny and eventful trip up north!

"THERES A GREEK ON ME."

i'm disgusted in my lack of blog posting... nearly 2 weeks is not on haha!

i have 2 posts i need to do: 1.corfu 2010 -smiths on tour 2.leeds-leicester on tour.

both were absolutely amazing hahaa :) where do i even begin.

post 1.

CORFUUUU.

i'm so in love with that place. arrilas is so stunning, theres no where else i could feel so relaxed and chilled out.

-the weather was amazing, so so hot.

-KV was, as usual, perfect. our view from the balcony was stunning.

-we spent like everyday by the pool and the beach just sitting sunbathing

-me and my mum went on some lovely walks, including an adventure to the "other side," this amazing so so perfect little bar on the top of a cliff and around the back

unknown bits of arrilas.

-cocktails every evening, including creating a "BECCA SPECIAL"

-seeing our greek friends again :) including billy, a brief reunion with jimmy and of course old billy the greek who i am now to call my uncle billy in greece. some of his quotes where classic.

-phigo the dog too. too cute.

-amazing greek food every night in the tavernas. i love how they recognise us from past years too, the locals are so nice.

-the greek waiters were rather nice too ;)

-being next to the sea, and swimming in it and sitting on the beach was perfect too. i've missed being at the beach, i so hope it won't be another year until i'll be at the seaside again please.

-"working" behind the bar every night practically begging for a job. and having some pretty drunken conversations with the other people staying at KV. they were all lovely, but that's possibly because of the state i was in? pahaha

aaah i really can't explain the place. it was amazing. i'd love to go back next year, but the smiths have called it the last year. i think we're too old for SMITHS ON TOUR? haha, so i'm gonna' try find someone to come with me next year.

or possibly italy instead? ...it's just really hard to imagine not going back next year.

i'm SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SOOOOOO excited to be going to arillas, corfu 2morooo!

some people think we're crazy and boring just going to chill out for a week in the same place we've been to like every year.

this is the fifth year we've been. but honestly its one of the best places in the world.

it's so relaxing, everyones lovely. the sea and the views are beautiful. and its the best place to just escape to. we know the people that run the little holiday village, and they treat us like friends that have come to stay, rather than complete strangers buying a holiday.

i've read back the past blog from when i came back last year, we had SUCH good times.

aaaah, i hope i've not built it up too much this year, but it's gonna' be amaaaazing, i know your all jealous ;) paha. naaah i think it's a bit of a smith thing, you wouldn't get it.

right, i've got so much packing and stuff to sort out. i need to

-pack my case.

-sort out my hand luggage.

-get the euros in the purse for the quickest plane to cocktail transition possible.

-i need to buy some of these albums ive been rinsing off spotify, not cool.. i've not paid for music in such a long time

-gotta' watch mamma mia, its like the perfect "pre-drink" for a holiday to greece

-then probs gonna' sleep, or try to before the earlyyyy flight!

i'll be back late next friday (23rd) but then i'm hitting my new leeds house with the leicester girls and boylin, from sat 24th til the wednesday.

hiiiii, not posted in a while 'cos things have been busy, busy.

i took a cheeky trip to manc' to see boylin at the weekend. we went to prinworks and then tiger, wooo haha keeping up traditions obviously, and then had a night in her pub with a good curry and a catch up the night after. also had a coffee a little look around in macclesfield (:

it was such a mission to get up there, but loved it, it's good to go on little adventures now and then!

we watched the world cup final too, yep, thats my team from the start, winners.

hahaaa. i've developed a bit of a crush on david villa, he's lovely.

i'm going with this.

because this part of the film makes me absolutely weep, it's just too sad.

they're so happy and then it makes me angry that such awful illnesses and disease happens to people all the time. everywhere, across all ages. it's awful, i want to do more to help charities for cancer please, i'm gonna' make it a goal for next year. :)

last night was such a laugh, loved it.

we got a little pub quiz team together, for most of it we were called "the recession-istaaaas"

but then after a cartoon picture round and a fair few cocktails we changed it to BITCH FROGS.

hahahaa, we lost but it was hilarious (:

then i went on a mosh night out, because i was dying to get back on the danceflooorrr!
