hold on hope

just taking a little time out from all of todays sunbathing to write a blog post (:

...because my back is quite literally burnt red raw, fabulous.

and as i'm writing this my arms are gradually going more and more red, why does it only develop when you start to sit inside. i hate my skin.

anyway, day three of summer was spent on a little trip into town to see some of the leicester girls and full time sociolgy crew (: d'aww i love you pair, we can have such a

laugh together and although so much has changed since last year, it feels just the same. we had plenty of summery cocktails sitting outside on such a warm day and then rushed through some nachos before heading home for a lovely family meal at the local pub/restaurant.

day four of summer i hit glenstockkk with kat j. it was lovely sitting outside in such amazing weather, listening to some ...local, bands haha! such a laugh going live on the radio but nobody playing along with the cheering. must have sounded like such a good atmosphere...

not as big a crowd of us as last year...but hey it was lovely to have a f

air few pints and get quite rather tipsy with my bessieee (:

then we had a smith family barbequeee and watched the dorothy final. GET IN DANIELLE, WOOOO! thats it for andrew for another year though, boooo :(

day five has currently just been a day of sunbathing. gonna' hit the little garage home gym later and pack to leave back for leeds 2moro, taking this awful sun burn with me, yaaaay!

i've decided i'm gonna' do what i attempted to do last year and try and keep a diary of every day of summer :) then, i can look back and hopefully remember all the lovely times ive had!

day one of summer.

woke up early to get in the "daybed" and nurse a hangover from a wicked graphics night out.

a few too many sambuca shots were nailed, but we were on just the right side of drunk and it was lovely for so many people on graphics to be out, celebrating with our dancing feet!

anyway chilled out for a few hours, then went to headingly for shopping, milkshake and the fruit shop (: then after a failed attempt to make grapes with a hairdrier... i packed and left for a cheeky trip home for a few days.

day two of summer.

today i've slept in, it's so nice to be back in my own bed!

then spent the day with the bro, going to see some really inspiring stuff at the art and design foundation degree show. everyones work looked so good.

then we did a bit of shopping, went and got some milkshakes, then home to chill out :)

it's been soooo hot here, but booo no sun. i'd really like a bit of colour pleaaase!

happy birthday

my blog is officially one year old today (: yaaaaay!

i can't believe it's been a whole year that i've been writing this rubbish.

but it's so nice to look back over what i was doing this time last year though

...so much has changed! from a bit of a terrified a-level student to a much more confident fresher student absolutely loving it!

and i'm so pleased im still in touch with most people in the memories on this blog. i really hope it stays that way (: i love youuu

and ive met so many more amazing and lovely people, hopefully there will be many more memories with them

here's to another hopefully exciting and eventful year,

fingers crossed it's just as amazing as the last.

the other day my gran visited me in leeds and said how happy i seemed.

she was right, even on such boring revision days, thinking about it...

i am happy.

i'm keeping myself distracted so i don't go absolutely crazy from the amount of rubbish they're trying to make me learn. it's not even got ANY relevance to my course, cheers babes.

ive been completely fixated with these kids,

i don't really know much about them but they're talent is amazing and the drive and passion they have is crazy! they've done loads, search there blogspot...

oh and i'm getting a bit obsessed with the sixties agaaain, whoops!

i watched most of factory girl the other day, but completely forgot to watch the film and just sat gaping at the style and culture of the era. time machine pleeeease!

sick like syd and nancy, wicked as a joyride jaunt

hello, money for a new wardrobe PLEASE.

today i had to get my photo's developed for my project so i had like an hour's free time in leeds. i think i almost gave myself severe depression, there's so many amazing things i want. urban outfitters was honestly like heaven. satchel bag, "B" necklace, amazing dresses and some amazing photography books. i could easily have spent at least £100. gutted.

so instead i went and had a coffee. ...alone. gutted!

haha, but it was one of the best coffee's ever, cafe nero has definitely raised there game. s'not starbucks though!

alsooo, watched atonement for about the fifth time last night :) i'm so in love with it, every shot is so beautifully done and lit. joe wright is a genius, definately need to see some more of his films! i really want the 30's, the style is SO good.

and to look as amazing as keira.

and a typewriter. (: not asking much!

anywayy, mounting is rubbish. i'm so bad at it, im gonna' now have to do it after about 3 hours in the "daybed" boooo!

it's been so long since i've blog posted, ooyerr.

i've had a fab week thanks, some lovely nights out with flat mates and course mates :)

from coffee's to lethal dregs to mixing bowls to cocktails.

i lost my phone again, which was more than annoying

but you realise how many people care, when you ask for numbers again :)

currently in bed at 12.35 in the afternoon

considering rocky road for breakfast

just watched the over the rainbow results

considering whether i can get away with watching another one tree hill

no real plans to start revising or working.

i need to sort my life out.
