creative log

my course has started :) woop!
im so excited for it. people grumble about lectures 'n shizz but i don't mind
i want to do this, thats why i've signed up for a lifetime of debt after all!

they've really recommended that we keep a creative log.
so i've started one and i'm loving it.
its my little book of thoughts, inspiring images, words and lyrics

at the moment im inspired by vivienne westwood style union jacks
and the notion of searching.

bring on graphic design and communication. im ready to push hard for this!

Oh.. and to the sales assistant who served me out shopping at like 10.15 today..
Nah babe.. i wasn't "just out for a day shopping" haha, oh half hour lectures are definately worth it.

its been a week since my last post.
...NOT TOO MUCH CHANGE!

i'm now living in a completely different city - a completely better city!
with a bunch of really nice flatmates
with some wicked nights out
and what seems like soon s'gonna be a dead good course.

freshers is going really well
'n theres still more to come!

oh but i miss my teddy and the treadmill. BOOOO!

i went for the first time on a tuesday last night.
i'm still a little bit under the influence of alcohol, after barely any sleep.

my feet are sore from dancing like a mad man to jamie t.
and loving the talent in there.
and yelling out all the words to michael jackson from the club toilets.
and loving getting plastered with my form bessie for like 7 years :)

gosh its becoming like the last of everything.
i hate it.

last days of summer '09

i've had my head totally in uni preparation and the countdown to moving out
but today it hit me that this is my last week of summer.

and its been one of my best ever.
in june i made a to-do list on this and ive looked back and i've done like 3/4's of 'em
and theres loads that wasn't on the list that i've done and loved.

in fact 2009 has been one of the best ever.
theres so much i've done from london to corfu, from leicester to birmingham, from dancefloors to chilled out parks, from studying hard to passing exams, from house parties to formal proms, from funny memories to embarassing photos, from dvd nights to cinema outings, from restaurants to kitchens... it's been wicked.
and so many people i've got closer too, like proper mates.

things are obviously gonna' change and that's quite daunting.
but i'm very excited :) bring it.

P.S i just got my hair re-dyed dark again. feels tons better but less hacking with the ghd straightners please!

Ben Barnes is looking lovely and Colin Firth is very dark and mysterious haha!

i didn't really like the loose plot of the whole thing

and we laughed loads at the scary bits, 'cos they weren't tht scary and the woman in front about pooed her pants!

but i'd recommend it, for something a bit "heavily gothic..." Pahahahaha!

ikea stock up!

had a major shop in ikea for all my uni flat gear today!
got loads of stuff, mostly in shades of pink :) haha

i think i've got everything now, which feels wicked
just need food to "cook".. ohh! haha, still haven't learnt all that yet!
and read a book, get some portfolio equipment and do my summer project.
..theres still twelve days, it'll be fineeee! ;)

"angels with dirty faces" is actually a wicked album!
it reminds me of being a kid loving them but not really gettin' the whole "music" thing!
it was a present from aunty hazel. :)

back to real life.
things are going much better now.
i'm on antibiotics which means no getting plastered but my throats so much better!
and i've got some dead nice clothes and shoes for my new uni wardrobe
and i now know like nearly all of my future flat-mates and some of the neighbours
and they all seem dead nice :)

woo! this time in 2 weeks i'm gonna be probably bricking it with nerves
but at the moment i'm just living off sheer excitement! ...and sugababes ;)
