these past few days have been ace.
too many drinks.
catching up with gran.
being perma-tired.
getting my top choice dream accomodation.
dancing to some wicked tunes.
catching up with old form friends.
buying lots of fashion magazines, including the new "LOVE."
non-stop lists of things i still need to do to prepare.
family walks and meals out.
shopping for a gradual new uni wardrobe.

i'm having it.

if i could just sleep straight through it and wake up tommorow morning 10am
make-up fully prepared, nicely clothed, all ready to go, i would!

but MJ proved that that's a little dangerous, god rest his soul.

today i am bored.
i've been through the usual sunday routine, read at least 2 of the stack of supplement weekend magazines; slept in 'til breakfast would be wasted 'cos of lunch; watched hollyoaks omnibus; the usual!
now i'm thinking about getting actually properly dressed, showered - you know, up' an' at 'em!
but thought i'd give a little quiz a go first.

whats your favourite thing about being a woman? the openess to be creative about our appearence and identity through style and fashion. men are far more restricted about identity due to "masculinity"

what are your current frustrations? waiting. waiting for results, waiting to know which city i'll move to, waiting to know which course i'll study. waiting to know when i'll have to say goodbye, waiting to know generally what the futures gonna' be like. i'm a sucker for routine so change will be hard but i'm ready and very impatient.

nervous is an understatement. i've been barely able to sleep, it's ridiculous for such a big decision to be such a wait, yet over in a second. hurry up, i've had enough.

i don't really like dido's music. it's a bit bland and boring.
but "sand in my shoes" says it, almost perfectly.

last night i watched "the reader."
it's stunning. the story is well good and the subcontext of secrecy and inability to tell a story was breath-taking.
pure recommend it, but not for the costume design.. (very awkward with the parents! haha!)

i've started loving films.
the other week i watched benjamin button. it was slow but again the story was a stunner.
and i went to see harry-p at the flicks.
disappointing. too much concentration on teen-crushs starting and setting up for the next film.
plus draco malfoy looks about 25. haaa
dan rad' saves it tho' and you can't really not go see a hp film.

i'm gonna rent revolutionary road next i think.
and go see time travellers wife.

i couldn't decide tonight what to blog about.

it was a toss up between:

1. how i suddenly realised im going to london in a couple of weeks - exciteddddd!

with gran. sight-seeing. get in.

or

2. how lovely today was, chilling out after a 2 and a half day stretch of shifts

doing not-a-lot, but with mates and appreciating rare sun.

i'm missing being abroad,
(i know, change the record.. it's either arillas or results, i need new distractions!)
but things are easier there, life is more relaxed and fun
the sun, the laughs, the cocktails!
i know a holiday is different to living in places like that, but i've decided:
as soon as possible im leaving this country. (il go in 2 years then ill finish my course back here and go.)
SOZ, but no thanks to rubbish weather, ugly landscapes and constantly depressed population.
i'm so excited to get away!

i think working all day and barely sleeping at the moment is making me like this.
i need a bit more spontaeity and to chill out!
